In what was a spirited debate on the House floor this past Tuesday, Rep. Jim Christiana (R-Beaver) stood in opposition to legislation proposed by House Democrats, House Bills 2399 and 2401, that would funnel hundreds of thousands of additional tax- payer dollars into programs. Christiana’s opposition stems from Pennsylvania’s history of spending money on these types of programs with little, if any, positive results.
